ABOUT ME
A.R. Arias, a.k.a. Alberto Rios, was born in Jersey City, NJ, and grew up in Hoboken. He
spent several years in Puerto Rico, where he learned to read and write Spanish in high
school.
After graduating from high school, he devoted three years of public service in the U.S.
Army. Afterwards, he attended college in New York City at the popular School of
Visual Arts, where he majored in fine arts, alongside creative writing, which quickly
became his favorite class.
He has authored and recently published two other novels, including A Death For
Beauty and Oceans.
Initially written as a journal kept by a female Cyborg (now featured in a board game),
The Asylum: Ageof the Apocalypse, is his third novel.
A. R. Arias is currently developing a screenplay film adaptation for The Asylum.
